Agriculture Department Contest Rules for 2012

 2. Crops should be grown in the contest year except shelled corn and soybeans may be from prior year’s crop.

3. All entries will be judged on quality except longest ear of corn and the largest pumpkin, which will be judged on size.

4. The market basket and garden display will be judged 50% on qual-ity, 25% on quantity and 25% on artistic display.

5. The judge does not have to place a first, second, or third if only one or two entries are in a category and the quality is lacking. Subordinate/Community Grange Member Division One entry per person per category. Produce not picked up by Saturday afternoon will be auctioned off Sat-urday evening. 1.
